"Blasted" The first half of the film is without a doubt funny since we get to watch how this bizarre group unites and awkwardly tries to connect. Unfortunately, when things start to get bizarre, they break up, which makes the movie much less enjoyable.
Soon after the gang arrives at their stag destination, a village in Norway that is well-known among UFO enthusiasts, aliens invade their fun and games. They are truly being assaulted by blubbery-looking creatures that wouldn't be out of place in a Doctor Who episode from the 1970s; unfortunately, this isn't just a practical joke pulled by one of Sebastian's friends.
They also have to deal with their fellow humans, who the aliens have turned into glaring green-eyed zombie-like creatures. But these aren't their only adversaries. Thankfully, Seb and his old childhood friend were laser tag champs, and since his old friend arrived with a laser gun, they have a way of dispatching their alien foes.
While they fight the enemy who threatens to convert them into zombies, the other members of the group are kidnapped and transported to an alien spacecraft. A female police officer learns about their predicament in the interim and joins them in their fight for survival.
When everyone sets their differences aside to fight back against the alien invasion, one of the reasons the movie starts to stray from its intended trajectory. In contrast to the relatively sharp and clever sequences that came before, the scenes that follow become extremely silly and aren't that funny.
